A mystery for date night
One episode a week makes a standing date. Each of you reads the case files on your own account, then you meet and argue it out. Episode 1 is free for both of you.
One episode a week is a standing date
A case runs in weekly episodes, and a new one opens every Sunday. That gives the two of you a reason to set aside the same evening each week, and a week to think about it in between.
Read the episode apart, on a laptop or a phone, whenever suits each of you. Then meet and argue it out. Nobody tells you mid-case whether your theory is right, so the argument is the best part.
Your own account, marks and answers
Each of you has your own free account, notebook, timeline and answers, and each of you files your own answers. Nothing is shared between your accounts unless you say it out loud.
Episode 1 is free for both of you. To read past it, each of you needs a Case Pass, which belongs to the account that buys it. The Cases page explains how passes work.
Ideas for the evening
- Bring one mark each. Pick the line you think matters most and read it out. See whether the other one reads it the same way.
- Say the name together. Count to three and both say who you think did it. Then find out why you agree or do not.
- Lay the timelines side by side. Look for the gap in the evening, and ask which of you trusts a time that was only remembered.
- Cook, then investigate. Make dinner first, and open the exhibits over dessert.
- Play it long distance. Each read on your own side of the country, then talk it through on a call.
